As you can tell I’ve expanded this blog from exclusively house projects to more of a lifestyle blog, as you can see with the Crafty, Random Thoughts, Raves and Recipes categories. Why? Cause it’s my blog and I can write whatever I want!

In reality, I don’t DIY enough to consistently develop content, and because I’m impatient, waiting to write in between projects stinks. I first named the blog house food random and later changed it to hate to love the split, which I’m now re-thinking. Or maybe I should just leave it as hate to love the split and let bygones be bygones?

My friend Allison recently wrote this post on what she was currently doing, which is apparently all the rave for bloggers. Soooo, this is what I’m currently doing.

Reading Almost done with The Girl in the Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz. I read the first three books in the Millennium Series and even though the author is different (the first three were written by Stieg Larsson) it’s just as thrilling as the first three. Next up is Blackout by Sarah Hepola, which I’ve seen on a few other bloggers’ must-read lists.

Watching The 6th and final season of Downtown Abbey.

Giggling at I Ate Like Tom and Gisele for 17 Hours and Lived to Tell the Tale. “I am literally eating someone’s yard clippings. I am in vegetation hell and Satan is paleo.”

Cooking I made this Kale Soup over the weekend and tonight I made Vegetarian Enchilada Stuffed Spaghetti Squash. I only used one large spaghetti squash and instead of stuffing it, I just tossed it all in a pan. It was super easy, and the only thing I would have done differently is maybe add some jalapenos for a little kick. IMG_0922

There is no such thing as too much cilantro.

Loving My new Smartwool running socks and Pearl Izumi cycling shoes (thanks mom!). I’m signed up for a 10-mile run and a duathlon this spring so I *should* be doing a lot of training.

Wanting To go back to Eastside for another Infidel and more shishito peppers, flatbread and veal cheek.

Anticipating Going to St. Genevieve with my mom and sister this week!

Working on finishing the hallway. The light is up, but we don’t have the correct bulb. Baby steps…

Craving Sunshine.

    1. It was a super fun one to write, glad you enjoyed reading it!
Favorite things were the leeks, squid and butterscotch dessert. You wouldn’t have to twist my arm to go again. 🙂

      1. Ok, I saw you write that somewhere, but I really wasn’t quite sure if that meant they were all together. Who knew!
