I originally wanted to buy some 27 items from the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale, but somehow got that down to a reasonable 6. Read more to see which items became Nordstrom Keepers.
Online shopping is always a bit of a gamble, because you’re unsure if the items will fit, if the color/material is right or if the quality is up to snuff. Usually you can get a good idea by who you’re ordering from (Nordstrom vs. Forever21) and the price.
I was pretty confident in my Nordstrom cart though. Nordstrom is very consistent with descriptions, photos and price/quality exceptions. So it was no surprise to me that I kept all 6 items I ordered from they Half Yearly Sale! Isn’t it wonderful when that happens?
Black Ruffle Top
Distressed Jean Shorts
Call me crazy for buying jeans with holes in them, but I am obsessed with these. Don’t be surprised if I end up living in them this summer. When I wear them I feel like I look like one my favorite fashion Instagram accounts– happilygrey.
But in reality I look like this:

Gold Hoop Earrings
The gold hoop earrings are a classic case of you-get-what-you-paid-for, but I’m still not going to return them. I already wore them when I went to Commonwealth Bistro in Covington, KY. Let me tell you how weird it was to put Kentucky into my GPS, but the Covington area is super cute! Digressing again.
Two Layer Ring
Simliar to the earrings, this ring was also a low-cost and low-quality piece. I still really like it and it actually fits my finger! I have really small fingers so it’s hard for me to find inexpensive occasional rings.
The last Nordstrom Keeper are these basic black wedge sandals. They are Söffts so they are cushioned and almost guaranteed to be comfortable. Am I turning into an old lady?
