Time flies when you’re having fun! I even forgot to do a May Currently, but I’m back at it with a recap of June and July. You can see from the photo that we’re making progress with our living room makeover, but it’s been low on the priority list.
A Weekend in Minnesota
I flew back to Minnesota for a quick weekend with family and friends. I had lunch with my sister and nieces, attended my goddaughter’s dance recital, visited my uncle, visited friends and met my friend’s adorable baby girl. Between that, I got in a few runs and ate some of my stepdad’s yummy grilling.
Avixa Foundation 5K
While in Orlando for a trade show, I signed up for their foundation 5K, another race that wasn’t on my 2019 list. Even at 7am, Orlando in June is hot and extremely humid. I convinced my coworker to run with me and we run/walked it. Made for a long day but worth it!
I’m still working on all the Paris posts, we were there for 10 days and my last post about Amboise was only day 4!
We’re several weeks into fall marathon training now and I’m not feeling as good as I’ve felt during previous trainings. I feel strong about 50% of our runs. The others I lag behind my pace group, because I’m trying to lower my heart rate. I think I’m just out of shape.
A Cincinnati Surprise
Just this last weekend, my sister, niece and nephew were set to come for a visit. Little did I know my brother was coming too. It was the best surprise and we had a great weekend together! Some of the highlights include playing Top Golf, walking to the ice cream store, touring Findlay Market, playing Watch Ya Mouth, and belting out 90s songs at the bar. 🙂 My heart is full.
