Who doesn’t love a good alliteration? And speaking of threes, we’ve made three big steps in the office!

  1. Ceiling is painted! We used Glidden ceiling paint, which goes on pink but dries white.

  1. Trim is primed and painted! Two coats of primer and two coats of paint to cover up le bleu.

I love this stuff because it requires zero sanding! (We lost our sander 🙁 ) Buuuut, because it’s oil-based, it stinks like nobody’s business so we always were a mask and open the windows. The before and afters make it worth it though.

Remember how I went on and on about filling the nail holes and caulk? Proof is in the pudding.

DSC_0059All you trim-painters out there will appreciate those photos. The rest of you, well, just smile and nod.

  1. The walls are prepped for paint! We used Zinsser Gardz again. It’s like painting with milk. It’s super runny and drips all over, but it does a fantastic job at sealing up any leftover wallpaper paste. It dried clear, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.
