Going to Las Vegas During COVID 2021

We know that going to Las Vegas during COVID doesn’t sound like a great idea, but was actually very safe. The airport, airplanes, city of Las Vegas, hotels and casinos had a ton of things in place to keep you safe. Weird, but safe. And after being vaccinated we were ready to hit the town!

Winter Park and COVID 2021

I wasn’t originally planning on skiing this year, but things fell into place perfectly! I try to go every other year; I went in 2020 and 2018. So technically 2021 wasn’t my year. But, we cancelled our February Caribbean trip so I was able to squeeze in a few days of skiing. More about Winter…

Le Calife Dinner Cruise

Our last night in Paris included a romantic dinner cruise by le calife. We had the best spots on the boat, a wonderful meal and an excellent bottle of wine. It was the perfect ending to such an incredible trip.

Musée d’Orsay

We celebrated the 4th of July by touring Musée d’Orsay. It’s surprising how many Statue of Liberties are around Paris. Inside the d’Orsay we took the quick selfie in front of one to celebrate our Independence Day.

Château de Versailles

Like the other Châteaux, we did a private tour of Château de Versailles and we’re so glad we did! We toured the inside of the castle, the gardens and the estate of Trianon. Along the way we learned a lot more about Marie Antoinette too!

Dinner at Monsieur Bleu & Trocadéro

After returning from Amboise, we had another “free day” and walked around 10 miles to build up an appetite for our dinner at Monsieur Bleu. It’s located within the Palais de Tokyo, just across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. The trees were full of leaves so you could only see it if you squinted.

Time flies when you’re having fun! I even forgot to do a May Currently, but I’m back at it with a recap of June and July. You can see from the photo that we’re making progress with our living room makeover, but it’s been low on the priority list.
