Our last night in Paris included a romantic dinner cruise by le calife. We had the best spots on the boat, a wonderful meal and an excellent bottle of wine. It was the perfect ending to such an incredible trip.

The Cruise

We were seated at the very front, left side. I believe these were the best seats in the house. Not to mention there was a fan in the front keeping us cool with the sun beating down.

We were so giddy about our spot and the bottle of wine we ordered. I kept telling myself not to get motion sickness.

The cruise took us by all the major monuments along the river. It gave everything a slightly different perspective. I especially loved going by my favorite pont; pont neuf.

They timed it perfectly to go by the Eiffel Tower while it’s sparkling. I’m glad we were able to witness the sparkling. As cliché as it sounds, it was really romantic. Or maybe that was the wine going to my head. 🙂

The Dinner

As soon as we sat down we were served a glass of champagne and melt-in-your-mouth biscuits. Despite the boat being full, the service was excellent!

The four course meal was amazing! We ordered different starters and dessert so we could try a few things. We both belonged to the clean plate club that night.

The entire trip was so wonderful and ending with a le calife dinner cruise was a great way to say au revoir to Paris. Or should I say à bientôt?
