Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win by Jo Piazza is the latest book I’ve read from my 2019 book list. I read several chapters on our 12+ drive back to Minnesota a few weeks ago.

My Review
I really like this book until the last two pages. Most of the book contained just enough drama and excitement to keep you interested, but nothing too crazy. The story lines of Charlotte’s husband, family, and mentor/friend were well developed and believable enough. If you’re going to read it, be warned I’m going to spoil the ending now.

Instead of telling who won the election, what happened with her husband and his love child, the last two pages went on a rant about how hard it is for a woman to run for office. I’m all about leveling the playing field when it comes to women’s rights! (I loved The POWER.) But, in this case I just wanted to know if she won or not. Unless it’s part of a series, I like when books wrap up in the end (like This One is Mine) and leave no unanswered questions.
