The Buried Book by D.M. Pulley is the second book I read in Winter Park, after finishing A Short History of the Girl Next Door. I randomly selected it from one of the many free Amazon Prime books available on Kindle.

My Review of The Buried Book
After the first chapter, I felt bad for Jasper and intrigued by what his mom was up to. I was pulling for him each chapter to find the truth. I never really figured out his father, but I’ll chalk that up to reading it after a full day of skiing.
His cousin Wayne played a big role too. I had a love/hate relationship with him. Just when I thought he was a mean little bugger, he’d provide Jasper a helping hand. All their shenanigans were entertaining.
Overall it was a good book! Although it had some good character development and was easy to follow, it wasn’t the gripping thriller I was hoping for. Next time I go on vacation I’ll pack more books!
