I know I’m not the only person that lurves to check things off lists. My friend Kelsey and I went to grad school together and used to get some weird high when we’d highlight each completed week off the class syllabus. Why doesn’t that same list voodoo happen when I’m checking things of the grocery list? The last time I updated the list was over a year ago so it’s about time to start crossing things off!

Outside

  • Hire someone to fix the jungle (AKA butterfly sanctuary)
  • Jungle (AKA butterfly sanctuary) fix
  • Remove two pines from front yard
  • Seed where trees used to be
  • New front door
  • Redo the “deck” in the front
  • Door hardware
  • Fix garage door that doesn’t shut if it’s raining or snowing (thee precise time you WANT it to close!)

  • Buy and paint crown molding
  • Buy and paint closet doors – or curtains? Like this.
  • Window treatments

  • Install crown molding

Office

  • Remove wallpaper & prep for paint
  • Paint ceiling and walls
  • Paint trim
  • Light fixture

  • Office furniture/decorating
