Watching
I’ll Have What Phil’s Having
Phil is such an excitable guy, his facial expressions during the show are comical in and of themselves. I don’t that his eyebrows ever rest. He’s the creator of Everybody Loves Raymond, and while he wasn’t exposed to any adventurous eating while growing up, he is now a food enthusiast.
Last Week Tonight
John Oliver’s half-hour satirical look at the week of news, politics, and current events. There are so many good episodes, I started going through them to point out some favorites, but there are too many.
Grace and Frankie
Thanks to my mom’s recommendation we’ve gotten hooked on this funny series.

Thankful for
My mom! On Mother’s Day we ran around Lake Calhoun and then grabbed a Caribou Coffee. We’ve gotten in the tradition/habit of celebrating mother’s day like this and I love it! I have lots of habits/tastes to thank her for, including:

  • The taste for coffee, chocolate, and red wine.
  • Eating almost any leftovers cold, straight from the fridge.
  • Falling asleep at movies/shows/performances.
  • A rumbly tummy, but I suppose we have Grandpa Marv to thank for that.
  • Pushing me to run the Gopher to Badger half marathon (back in 2012).

Reading
Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg
I requested this book back in March and finally got it from the library, RBG is pretty notorious.

The Rosie Effect
I’m almost done! It’s a cute romantic non-fiction that I just realized is a sequel to The Rosie Project… might have to add that to my book list.

Loving
My new zester! So many Blue Apron recipes we’ve made, call for orange or lemon zest and we’ve trying to make do with a cheese grater. Then I planned to make this Lemon Almond Bread for my coworker’s retirement party and decided it was time to invest in a zester. Let me tell you, it was well worth the $10 investment.

Playing
Like my 2014 summer I’m afraid there won’t be very many home projects this summer because we’re too busy playing. I’m playing volleyball 3x a week, taking golf lessons, and I was/am training for races, like Goldy’s Run, the Esprit de She duathlon, and this weekend’s Tour de Cure ride. We have three long vacations planned, golf lessons, a gender reveal party, birthday parties and my birthday!
