Who doesn’t love a good day-in-the-live-of post? And because I’m a millennial, I’m doing a Snapchat day. I promise the photo above is the only selfie and spoiler: the rest is not that exciting.
Morning
Most mornings I take Sophie for walk right before I leave for work. Some days she is sleepy and some days she is super energetic. On Thursday morning she was very, very sleepy so it was a 2-minute walk.
I’m on disk 6 of As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust audiobook. I’m anxious to see what happens to little miss Flavia de Luce as she tries to solve a mystery in her new home at Miss Bodycote’s Female Academy in Toronto.
I usually pack something for breakfast and this time it was a honeycrisp apple. Coffee too, of course.
Afternoon
I usually eat pretty light lunches, today was some cowboy caviar from Hy-Vee and a Diet Coke.
Evening
Even though I felt like I was starving when I got home, I forced myself to do a 30-minute workout video in our basement.
I was happy to have leftover chicken pasta I had made the night before (I’ll be posting the entire recipe soon). I don’t know about you, but after working and exercising, the last thing I want to do is cook a meal and the first thing I want to do is EAT EVERYTHING. So, it’s good to have something already prepared or something for Nolan to start cooking.
I usually read before going to bed and I’m currently reading Fractured. It’s a thrilled about an author who moves to Cincinnati to get away from her stalker. I’m only about 50 pages in, but it’s pretty good.
I love this idea!! So fun to see your life behind the scenes. 🙂

Thanks! It was super fun to do too. Snapchat can be addicting. 🙂
Kind of a fun idea to use Snapchat to keep track of your day! I actually have never used Snapchat.
Try it! It’s super fun and easy to use. 🙂
LOL I love the ‘Faces of Emelia’! Disk 6??? Is it a 4,000 page book?
Hahaha omg I love this!! I can’t believe I missed the Starbucks filter!! I need to update Snapchat and see if it’s still there!
Thanks! When the Starbucks filter popped up I knew I had to use it for the post. 🙂
