All the things I’m currently loving, including home tours, our house, recipes, spring, and an easier way to donate your clothes!

Apartment Therapy’s House Tours

Apartment Therapy’s House Tours give you a glimpse into homes and apartments around the world. I’m currently loving this Capital Hill Row House. (All photos from Apartment Therapy) The things I want to copy…

White curtains and a fiddle fig tree.

Wine glass holder underneath the wine bottles.
Woven basket by front door.
Navy blue accents throughout entire house.
And of course, the cute dog.

Cincinnati House

As much as I like drooling over house tours on Apartment Therapy, I’m also loving our Cincinnati house! With all the unpacking done, we’ve started making design decisions, like the new organization plan in the master closet and the master bedroom window treatments!

Recipes

Now that we’re moved in I’m dying to get back to making some home cooked meals. Here are a few recipes I’m considering:
Cuban Sandwich from hapa nom nom
(We’ve made these before and loved them, but in the moving process we found a brand new panini press!)
Bread!

I’m also currently loving Dave’s Killer Bread, specifically the thin-sliced 21 Grain variety. It’s super tasty and only 60 calories per slice. They sell it at our local Kroger, but you can also buy it on Amazon.

Spring

Who else can smell spring in the air? Cincinnati is about a month ahead of Minnesota, where spring doesn’t really hit until May (or sometimes not at all and skips right to summer). Our grass is already super green and the daily temperatures have hit the 80s a few times! Sophie is loving it.

Give Back Box

Now, a new, easier way to donate your clothes and housewares! The Give Back Box is a service that allows you to re-use shipping boxes to send your donations. I haven’t actually used the service yet, but it looks great! The concept of donating an item for every item you buy online seems like such a great way to cut down on stuff, which we have a lot of.
