Since May, I’ve found and enjoyed a few new podcasts. My sweet spot for shows are between 30 and 40 minutes long, making them perfect for my daily lunchtime run or walks with Sophie.

I like both series (Serial and S*Town) and long running podcasts (Young House Love Has A Podcast and Chris Loves Julia Podcast). Sounds like a lot, but some of these only come out with one episode a week, I listen to about five a week. Here are a few others that I’m enjoying.

The Runner’s World Show

Even though they aren’t created any new podcasts currently, The Runner’s World Show has 70 episodes that can still be listened to. I’ve listened to a handful of them. My favorites include the interview with Peter Sagal, Air Force Tested, a Beer Mile, and of course The Best Strategies to Help You Poop. (I’ve previously mentioned my love of Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me, which also has a podcast. Oddly enough though, I prefer listening to it on the radio, not through my headphones. Call me weird.)

Sincerely, X

Sincerely, X is a podcast ” featuring talks from speakers whose ideas deserve to be heard, but whose identities must remain hidden.” There are currently only 10 episodes and I’ve made it through all of them, I hope they produce more!

Conversations With People Who Hate Me

Dylan Marron created, produced and hosted Conversations With People Who Hate Me. Marron writes and creates videos on social justice issues, sparking a lot of negative responses. The podcast are conversations with the people with those negative responses. The first chapter is complete (with 11 episodes), but they are working on additional episodes.

Dirty John

The latest series that I’m hooked on is Dirty John. It’s a true-story crime story from the Los Angles Times. I’m only two episodes in and it’s so good!
